Residing on the balmy east coast of South Florida, Cooljamaz founders Cathy Schwartz and Carol Papkin were on a mission to create a line of sleepwear that was not only cool and practical, but fashionable.

“Our designer has created something I feel every woman will feel luxurious in.” Cathy, a native New Yorker says. “Just because we’re in our 40's and 50's doesn’t mean we don’t want to look good while we’re sleeping or lounging around the house.”

Cathy relocated to South Florida and has worked in the healthcare marketing industry for over 20 years working with several South Florida hospitals. “Working many years marketing various medical specialties led me to believe that not only would this garment help women going through menopause but women going through chemotherapy, breast-feeding and detox can also benefit from wearing Cooljamaz.”

Her partner Carol, formerly a practicing attorney who specialized in family practice, felt passionate in helping women. “There are millions of women suffering from menopause or other conditions that truly have a hard time getting a good night’s sleep because of night sweats. We feel Cooljamaz nightwear and bedding is a perfect solution to their comfort and well-being.”
